TET is being conducted for candidates who Intend to be Teachers for Classes I to V have to Appear for Paper-I and The Candidates Intending to be Teachers for Classes VI to VIII have to Appear For Paper- II. The Teachers Eligibility Test 2015-16 (TET – TS) is Conducted in 2 Papers wise Paper-I & Paper-II.

TET exam includes these following:
- The written exam is in objective type i.e Multiple choice questions are asked.
- The written exam is conducted in two papers. They are paper I & paper II.
- Paper I is for the candidates who are willing to become teachers for Class I to V.
- Paper II is for the candidates who are willing to become teachers for Class VI to VIII.
- The duration of time for each paper is for 150 minutes.
- The total marks for each paper is 150 marks.
